director's note
I wanted to make a film that will mirror the spirit inherent to the
downfall of totalitarianism and to the stuttering years of Serbian
democracy.
My intention was to make a profoundly human film pursuing
universal values; a film whose characters will be equally loved
and understood by the audience - through a discreetly
implemented idea of forgiving and repentance.
The Ambulance as a metaphor of the awareness that social
erosion can only be stopped through mutual understanding. |
